The recipe swap I hosted in March/April was so successful that we couldn't wait for round #2. Everyone did such an amazing job with their recipe page....so creative! Not only am excited to add more pages to my recipe book, but I'm also excited to try these delicious recipes.
Without further ado.....here they are.
We'll start with my page. Being from the Pacific Northwest, seafood is a favorite. I went with another seafood dish for this recipe swap: Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil. It's fairly easy and quite delicious!!
I started out by drawing a template of a shrimp that I found on Google. I'm not as good at drawing by hand as I used to be, but I think the template turned out. I used different Microsoft applications (paint, publisher, word) to print out the template with the recipe printed on the shrimp. Then, I cut out each template by hand. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the colors (Blush and Poppy inks) turned out for the shrimp using the sponging technique.
I made the sand using Cocoa cardstock and dabbing dots using various Copic markers (sorry I didn't save the name of the colors).
The seashell, sand dollar and starfish are from the Sea Shells set. They were colored with Copics, fussy cut and embellished with stickles.

The base card is Sage layered with Sky. For the bubbles, I used the circles stamp from Tini Time with Sky ink.

Once I had all my pieces ready, I started to adhere. I used Crystal Clear Glaze over the circles. The sea shells images were adhered with 3D Foam Adhesive. And lastly, I added clear skittles (yes, the first time I heard about skittles, I thought it was the candy LOL).

ETA (edited to add): I found a great app for my phone that creates photo collages. So, I thought I would make a collage of everyone's recipe pages. :)
