Well...after a couple weeks of being MIA, I have so much to post. I wish I had more time to make things look "pretty". :)
I hope everyone has enjoyed their summer thus far. I can only report that mine has been too busy....AND.....not with fun stuff. LOL!
The a|s consultants have had access to the new a|s Holiday Catalog coming out on August 22, 2011. Are you excited!?!?!? While we cannot share with you the catalog on our blogs, I do have a pdf version of the Holiday Catalog that I am allowed to share with you. So, if you want to see the catalog before it is released next week, please contact me at bjlee717 "at" comcast "dot" net.
I wanted to share with you a card that I made using one of the new stamp sets and the new snow globe die.
The image is from a set called "A Christmas Carol". I used copics to color the images (of course, I didn't keep track of which colors I used....sorry). I used the new Snow Globe die, cutting a piece of the globe on sugar cardstock for the image and another piece of the globe in acetate. I cut out a piece of sugar cardstock by free-hand for the "snow" on the globe. I used the diamond glitter on the "snow" and adhered it to the acetate piece.
I masked another stamp from the same set to get the "Jingle Bells" sentiment.
The card base is the cherry cardstock with candy cane striped cardstock.
There are so many exciting new products in the new Holiday Catalog. You won't want to miss it. The Holiday Catalog will be available from August 22, 2011 through January 31, 2012.
I'll feature another set soon, so check back.
Blessings,

August Spotlight
Each month, selected stamp sets will share the spotlight with a gorgeous color palette to create projects that showcase the versatility of paper crafting.
School's in session!!!
How fun would it be for your child to find an adorable lunchbox note? Supplies used: The Mighty Jungle, Personal Stationery, and Past Due stamp sets
What a way of thinking outside the box!!! The A Muse Studio 11x17 Grid Paper (not just for work surface anymore) was used to make this great book cover using the Rock Star stamp set.
This studious little owl treat bag started with our 1/2 lb Brown Paper Bags and a variety of Nestabilities, topped off with a bit of stamping (Rock Star set was used on his tummy and School Days for the ruled sentiment)!
We also used A Muse Studio Felt (new in the Holiday Catalog!) and a variety of Nestabilities and A Muse Studio Exclusive dies to create an out-of-this-world robot backpack!
The School Days set is perfect for creating Teacher Appreciation gifts - like this notepad.
Nothing says "back to school" like a #2 pencil, but these are good enough to eat!
The A Muse Studio staff has done another terrific job with projects showcasing this month's spotlight specials. If you would like to learn more about the projects and the supplies used, please contact me.
Here are the stamps that are on special for this month:
And, for a limited time, order the special Collegiate cardstock assortment pack .

WINNER!!!!
I am so sorry that it's taken me so long to announce the winner. I was, first, trying to figure out how to view my followers. Seems that IE is having issues so I had to download Google Chrome. I can now see my followers. Even though not everyone left a comment, I wanted to give all of my followers a chance to win... since the main goal was to get 20 followers. Without further ado, the winner is......
Angie H.
Thank you again to all my follo
wers!! I truly appreciate your support.

I reached my wish of 20 followers!!!!
Thank you to everyone who have visited my blog (even with not being so active in these last couple months or so). Thank you especially to those who have become a follower of my blog.
I will do a random drawing tonight and announce the winner of the A Muse Studio Catalog.
Have a fantastic day, everyone!!
UPDATE: I can't seem to "see" my followers. ARGH!!!! After doing some research, I don't think I'm the only one with this problem. One resolution is to use Google Chrome. I'll get that downloaded tonight and see if I can see my followers.
