A Muse Studio February Consultant Challenge - Shine Bright

This month's challenge is called "Shine Bright".  We were challenged to create something using product that make it shine....Glitter, Crystal Clear Glaze, Twinkles & Pearls, clear cardstock, heat embossing, etc.  I chose to use sequins.

I did a single die cut of the largest star in the Star Trio die set.  I used the negative piece to create the top layer of the card.  Then, I cut a piece of cardstock just a bit larger than the star die cut.  I layered it with Bermuda Sequins.  Then, it was just a matter of putting it all together using foam tape on the top layer.  That's it....very simple.

I really like the CAS (clean and simple) style of this card.  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

  1. Brenda, beautiful card! I like the Clean and Simple star, and the sequins give it just the right amount of visual interest. How do you attach your sequins so they stay adhered?

    1. Hi, Nance!! Thank you for your wonderful comment. I used Zig 2 Way Glue. What really helps is using a QuickStik. The stick has a poker on the other end that you can separate from the pen and use it to place/hold the sequins on the adhesive. It takes a lot of patience when you're gluing so many sequins. I found it best to let the glue dry on a few sequins before gluing more sequins. Hope that helps. :)
